Universal Perspective is a great gift, but given only to those who persistantly seek it...

It seems when one is overwhelmed with all the chaos and ambiguity and doubt and uncertainty that life throws at us that it is so hard to see past the immediate. We seek the hear and NOW fullfillment most of the time. Its a frustrating thing.
I believe that if we can train ourselves to see past the immediate and gain some forsight, combined with faith in ourselves and the universe, we can gain some universal perspective into our lives. With this comes understanding of those who we feel have wronged us or not lived up to our expectations and a confidence to move forward, to progress. It gives a sense of belonging and contentment and the worries that filled our lives almost up to the brim float away on a cloud of acceptance.
I think the best way to achieve this is through contemplative meditation. I try to understand the 'big picture' and it helps.
Thanks to anyone who read this. Any comments would be appreciated
